What is SVR? What’s a good SVR?Updated 2 months ago
Strength-to-Velocity Ratio (SVR) is another key performance metric that represents how efficiently your strength translates into throwing velocity.
The ideal SVR target is 1.6 pounds per mph of throwing velocity.
If your SVR is too low, it may indicate an imbalance where velocity gains are outpacing strength development, increasing stress on passive tissues like ligaments and tendons.
If your SVR is too high, it may suggest that your arm is strong but not fully utilizing its strength to generate velocity, indicating a potential mechanical or coordination issue.
