How to Respond to a Bad Fatigue Score:Updated 2 months ago

A bad fatigue score is a sign that says to “Slow down.”

Here's how to respond:

  1. Reduce throwing intensity and volume
Give your arm a break until strength levels return to baseline.

  2. Prioritize recovery strategies
Focus on quality nutrition, hydration, sleep, and active recovery exercises like light band work or mobility drills.

  3. Re-test before returning to high-intent throwing
If fatigue is still high, you need more rest or adjustments to your throwing schedule.

Why it matters

Tracking fatigue through post-throwing exams helps prevent overuse injuries, maintain performance, and extend your season.
