Should I continue using ArmCare if I have elbow or shoulder pain?Updated 2 months ago

Do NOT perform a strength test if it is causing pain. 

  • If you begin a Fresh Exam and experience pain during any part of the testSTOP immediately.

  • Complete the prep and a more thorough warm-up, and attempt the test again.  Sometimes, stiffness or mild soreness can mimic pain, and a proper warm-up can help distinguish between the two.

  • Reattempt the Fresh Exam.  If the Fresh Exam is still painful after a warm-up, take 48 hours of complete rest from both testing and throwing.

✔ If the Fresh Exam is pain-free and strength levels are normal, gradually resume throwing with a reduced workload and monitor closely for symptoms.

❌ If the test still causes pain after 48 hours: Stop throwing completely and seek medical evaluation.
