What’s the difference between Prep and the Custom Strength Training with ArmCare?Updated a month ago
ArmCare offers two distinct training components tailored to an athlete's needs:
1. Prep – Designed for daily use as a warm-up or active recovery routine.
Purpose: Activates key muscles before throwing, lifting, or practice to improve movement quality.
Customization: Some players will receive custom prep modifications based on reported arm pain or soreness.
Duration: 5 minutes or less.
Intensity: Lower resistance, focused on neuromuscular activation and mobility.
Best Use: Before activity or as light recovery work on off days.
2. Custom Strength Training – A personalized strength program based on ArmCare test results and specific arm health needs.
Purpose: Builds shoulder strength, endurance, and resilience to prevent injury and improve performance.
Customization: Adjusted based on your strength scores, progressively increasing resistance and intensity as you improve.
Duration: 15-20 minutes per session.
Intensity: Moderate to high, depending on identified weaknesses or imbalances.
Best Use: 2-3 times per week, depending on your training schedule and recovery needs.
